One More Frac Sand Mine Project in Western Wisconsin

One more Frac Sand Mine Project in Western Wisconsin. When will it be enough ? We have 128 Already! Meteor says it can create 100 jobs but would have to eliminate 16.6 acres of wetlands! Now that’s a trade off!! #NOMeteor

Geers cited “DNR figures showing employment in sand mining peaked at 840 with 27 facilities ijacksoncon 2014 followed by 249 layoffs at five facilities in 2015.”

In the last 10 years “The Department of Natural Resources has issued 60 wetlands permits to sand operators, which allowed for the destruction of 26 acres of wetlands”

Wisconsin’s hillsides  with “frac sand” is used to prop open fissures in the earth which creates an escape route for natural gas. A single well can require 2,000 tons of sand over its lifetime.

People Over Frac Sand Mines

Wisconsin Supreme Court will hear the issues on the Frac Sand mining permit dispute on January 11 . This will be the first of its kind in Wisconsin.Trempealeau County and all of Wisconsin watches closely to see if control from the citizens is taken away on how conditional use zoning permits are allowed. This will greatly impact how the Frac Sand Mine companies do business in Wisconsin

“AllEnergy’s is also asking the court to create a new rule that would require permits be issued if a company has met conditions set by a local government. ”

WI DNR Erases Causes of Climate Change

Under WI Governor Walkers “gang” the DNR in Wisconsin is looking like big money corporations hiding what’s really going on.

Urban Milwaukee confirms this causes confusion about the consensus view of experts worldwide.

DNR spokesperson James Dick told the Journal Sentinel that the climate change language revisions “reflects our position on this topic that we have communicated for years, that our agency regularly must respond to a variety of environmental and human stressors from drought, flooding, wind events to changing demographics.”

President of the alliance for the Great Lakes Joel Bammeier explains he does not understand why the DNR made the climate change revisions

“To me, it looks like they are trying to cover up a debate that really isn’t happening.”

Journal Sentinel explains

“The DNR now says the subject is a matter of scientific debate”

Part of the language change hidden is that scientists agree the Great Lakes region will see longer summers and shorter winters, decreased ice cover and changes in rain and snow patterns if climate change continues.

Updated : host Madison releases an article an hour ago stating
“Despite a series of surveys showing 97 percent or more of working climate scientists agree humans are causing the dramatic changes in temperature and weather”

Sitting Bulls Great Grandson Interview

I was blessed to receive an interview with Doug Goodfeather during my time at Standing Rock located on the Sioux Indian Reservation in Cannonball, North Dakota.

My video was featured at WCMC Coop Veteran Doug Goodfeather on CodeTalkers Youtube

“Maybe my grandpa saved your grandpa  ”
During the war, the CIA chose Native Americans to transmit vital information using their native language. The structure and tonal qualities were almost impossible for non-Natives to learn. Code Talkers were used in every aspect of the Pacific operations”

“Since last April, the camp has grown from a handful of Sioux to an expansive community representing over 300 tribes and various nationalities from around the world. It has also gone from a place of celebration to a war zone, complete with LRAD, rubber bullets, mace, snipers, dog attacks, helicopter and plane harassment, percussion bombs, road blocks, illegal arrests, strip searches, destruction of possessions and sacred items, tazers in the face, emotional trauma, and something called an “Active Denial System,” a machine that operates like a giant microwave, heating the skin of the targeted human subjects One of the pieces is showcased in  WCMC Coop called the Lakota Prayer.”

I have also been blessed with one of my videos showcased on a FaceBook page called the BlackSnake. The name “blacksnake” is part of the history of natives cultures and the stories of their visions and the 7th Generation
