Wisconsin Water 2X Arsenic Level

Last Ceremony at Standing Rock

The arrests of the Rise of the 7th Generation  was the last to be taken  from their lands. On March 1st Spiritual leader Leadhorse Choctaw was in ceremony at the ceremonial grounds near Standing Rock Video of the last ceremony .

“Three people were arrested. They pepper sprayed only Leadhorse and handcuffed him. The rest of the Water Protectors had to walk all the way to the Prairie Knights Casino,” Neddie said. DAPL Bankers Face Big Losses

Bankers across the globe get hit hard for investing in DAPL. The same week as the City Council of  Santa Monica, CA. voted to divest  from Wells Fargo with a 2.5 billion dollar impact following the 3.0 billion bite from the city of Seattle, WA approving to divest from Wells Fargo the second week in February 2017 against DAPL.

CalPERS  a California Retirement system with a  staggering 6.5 Billion dollar investments has shareholders and investors in 16 or the 17 banks backing DAPL has written a formal request to the banks on rerouting the DAPL pipeline to avoid the treaty territory.

With over 100 investors signatures from across the U.S representing 653 billion dollars in assets on six page of the PDF formal request published on February 17th, 2017.

Sacred Stone Camp has been surrounded this last week with militarized police, National guard and DAPL security within yards of the camp.The tension mounts at Oceti Skewing camp with barricades being installed in multiple places on the road and check points, the clean up, and an eviction notice handed to water protectors on Wednesday February 15,2017 video from Digital Smoke Signals .

“BayernLB, who currently has $120 million invested into the Dakota Access pipeline, has been a target of environmental groups and supporters of water protectors at the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe to divest from both the pipeline and fossil fuels and to invest in a green future.”

Madison Supporters Strike Again

Do not let the quietness in the Capitol City of Wisconsin fool you! The people from Madison are always creating an atmosphere of hope and strength, from the echos of the walls in the Capitol where the Solidarity Singers can be found, to the jingling of bells from a Santa without a Chimney and if you scurry outside around town you will see the OM Tiny Home Village and for the homeless.  One More Frac Sand Mine Project in Western Wisconsin

One more Frac Sand Mine Project in Western Wisconsin. When will it be enough ? We have 128 Already! Meteor says it can create 100 jobs but would have to eliminate 16.6 acres of wetlands! Now that’s a trade off!! #NOMeteor

Geers cited “DNR figures showing employment in sand mining peaked at 840 with 27 facilities ijacksoncon 2014 followed by 249 layoffs at five facilities in 2015.”

In the last 10 years “The Department of Natural Resources has issued 60 wetlands permits to sand operators, which allowed for the destruction of 26 acres of wetlands”

Wisconsin’s hillsides  with “frac sand” is used to prop open fissures in the earth which creates an escape route for natural gas. A single well can require 2,000 tons of sand over its lifetime.
